Year 3 Spelling Homework

 

This week in Year 3 we have been using spelling words linked to our Context 'I'm A Survivor'. Practise spelling these words with your child and discuss what what they might mean to your and your family.

 

 

Activity: try making a survival campsite picture and fitting the words into the picture.

Year 3 Maths Homework

 

This week, in Maths we have been learning how to add and subtract with 3-digit numbers. We have thought about which digit we must change when adding ones, tens or hundreds. Sometimes, we may need to exchange an amount from another place value column in order to complete the sum.

 

Ask your child to think of a 3-digit number, then try adding/subtracting ones, tens or hundreds.
