Year 3 Spelling Homework
This week we have applied different contexts words into our spelling tasks. We have 'magpied' the spelling words from different displays in our classroom. Ask children if they know how to spell these words:
- machine
- mechanics
- automatic
- energy
- solar
Challenge your child to think of other spelling words that fit in with our class context.
Year 3 Maths Homework
This week, we have been learning about different types of lines such as: vertical, horizontal, diagonal, parallel and perpendicular.

Practise drawing and making lines of your own using chalk outdoors on paint on paper.
Consider how these lines can make 2D shapes and describe what lines make up these shapes.
