Year 3 Spelling Homework
This week we have learning to spell the suffix - ful and that by changing the root word it gives the word a new meaning.
Have a go at practising the words form the word list below. Try playing a 'ping-pong' verbal game where you say the root word to your child and they answer with the prefix added.
Year 3 Maths Homework
In Maths this week, we have been learning to add and subtract fractions and to find the whole. Using a picture of a chocolate bar broken into chunks, the children were able to identify the numerator and the denominator for each section of the bar. Then they were able to add or subtract how many pieces of the bar had been removed.
