Maths
This week we have been learning the difference between area and perimeter. We have been working out the area of rectilinear shapes (made up of straight lines), including compound shapes.
Area= LxW
Perimeter= L+L+W+W =2Lx2W
Remember with area we write the measurement and then squared (a little 2).
