Year 3 Spellings Homework
Year 3 have continued to change verb tenses using irregular verbs this week. We encouraged the children to say the word aloud to check if it sounded right in the past tense. They enjoyed making up funny versions of past tense verbs e.g. drinked instead of drank.
Year 3 Maths Homework
In maths we have been using column addition to add 2- and 3-digit numbers. We started without exchanging with 10s and 100s and worked up to exchanging. Here is an example of both:

Practise using your own 3-digit numbers with the column addition method. Can your child work out when you need exchange?
