Spellings Homework w/b 8.1.24
In spellings this week, we have been making plurals by adding the letter 's' to a noun. We talked about the root word and how this changes when we make a word a plural. Have a look at the spelling lists below, then try spelling the words in different ways e.g. in a circle, or square shape or using rainbow colours.
Maths Homework w/b 8.1.24
In maths this week, we have been practising our 2, 5 and 10 times tables. It has been helpful knowing this number facts when trying out problem-solving questions.
We began learning our 3 times table using the fun song below - have a listen!
Try collecting pencils or lego blocks in groups of 3 and ask your child to count them up in 3s. Can they work out how many groups of 3 they would need to make 18? Keep asking different questions using the number facts for the 3 times table. Use the example below to help.
