Year 3 Spelling Homework

 

We have begun our new context for this term 'The Rise of the Robots' and have started to read our class book 'The Wild Robot' by Peter Brown.

The spelling words for this week have reflected the vocabulary that we will be using during this context. 

 

Year 3 Maths Homework

 

In maths this week, we have begun measuring mass using balance scales to weigh and compare different objects in the classroom. If you have a set of weighing scales at home then ask you child to find several different items from around the house to weigh. Can they predict which item will be the heaviest or lightest? Can they sort the items into lightest to heaviest?

 

Try to work out if Tiny Turtle is right in this problem-solving task.
