We were thrilled to meet the author Claire Fayers who wrote our class book 'Fairy Tales, Myths and Legends'. Claire kindly agreed to hold a virtual Q&A session with the children in Year 3, answering all kinds of questions on being an author and how to write books. We were really inspired and it helped with writing our own class story!
Welcome back Year 3 and Happy New Year!
We have hit the ground running with our new class book called 'The Egyptian Cinderella' by Shirley Climo. We have made art inspired by the front cover, performed drama and dance empathising with the main character (Rhodopis) and even hot-seated the characters.
