This term our context is called

'Planet Protectors'. 

We will be exploring a range of different stories from 'Michael Recycle' to 'Somebody Swallowed Stanley'.

You may hear the children talk about Plastic Pollution and changes that they would like to make outside of school to help prevent plastic pollution. We will also be looking at sustainability and during our pupil voice sessions the children have shown a keen interest in learning about endangered animals.

This term we are hoping to to go a trip to Barry Island, Have a visit from a Space Dome and also run our own Swop Shop for our friends and parents. 

We are also very excited to welcome Upbeat Music who will be coming in to run a drumming workshop with us. 

We will be celebrating Earth day on 22nd April  and all children are encouraged to wear something green. Please keep an eye out for more information about this via parentmail closer to the time. 

In maths we will be looking at time and money and are hoping to take a trip to Lidl during this time to show the use of money in a real life authentic context.
