This week we have started talking all about our new context
Enchanted...
We began the week talking about what we think Enchanted means...
We came up with lots of ideas about how we could make our classroom more enchanted...
Here are some of the ideas that we came up with...
We have re-arranged our book corner into an 'Enchanted Forest'...
We have turned our role play area into an 'Knight's Castle'...
We have transformed our muddy kitchen into a spooky witches
'Potion Lab'...
Helpwr Heddiw!
This week the very special job of
Helpwr Heddiw was undertaken by...
News Flash...
What an exciting first week we have had back at school this week.
We have spent the week disscussing our new context
Enchanted!
The children have come up with lots of ideas and questions about things that they would like to learn about this half term...
Please could all the children bring in a large stick on Monday ready to use in our
'Wand making station'
next week.
Snack will be £7 for the half term.
PE will continue to be on Thursday.
We are hoping to take PE outdoors.
Please could ALL children come to school dressed in their kit and trainers.
Leggings or joggers can be worn instead
of shorts or skorts and a hoodie or
jumper would be advisable.
Thank you for all your support this week on our first week back. Have a lovely weekend and enjoy the sunshine!
Reading News...
Reading days have remained the same
as before half term...
If you child does not yet have a reading book, please continue to practise the letter sounds and games that are on the website.
Please remember that ALL children
are INDIVIDUAL and develop at
different rates.
Grown Ups - In Reception we have used the analogy of popcorn,
i.e. - not all of the popcorn in the bowl pops at the same time.
If your child tells you that they have popped or almost popped this is what they mean...
Red bags do NOT have to be brought in every day - just on your child's reading day!
