Reading
We are still not receiving everyone's reading book back to school on a Monday each week. We understand from parental feedback that parents would prefer to have reading books send home earlier in the week, however this can be very difficult when we don't have everyones reading books.
Please ensure you bring your bookbags/books back on a Monday or a Tuesday ( If you forget Monday) to allow use listen to your child and swap their reading book.
Maths
This week we have been learning our number bonds to 20.
How many number bonds to 20 can you remember?
Can you write them down?
We have also noticed that many of the children are still not writing their numbers to 10 correctly. Please can you practise this at home to ensure we write all of our numbers correctly.
Literacy
This week in literacy we are focusing on reading AND spelling our Phase 4 Tricky words correctly.
Watch this video and practise reading and writing these tricky words. You could write them with a pencil, paint, in sand? You could type them on the ipad or even spell them using magnetic letters. We look forward to seeing the creative ways that you practise these.
