Maths and Numeracy
This week in Maths and numeracy, we have been learning about fact families.
A fact family is a group of maths facts or equations that use the same numbers. A fact family in maths can show the relationship between the numbers involved. It's a great way to see how they work together.
For example, here is the fact family of 2, 3, and 5:
2 + 3 = 5
3 + 2 = 5
5 – 3 = 2
5 – 2 = 3.
