Welsh Week...

This week we have been exploring

Wonderful Wales...

 

Did you know that we ALL live in WALES!!!

 

We have had a busy week exploring dragons, daffodils, dancing, songs

and food!!!

 

We finished the week with an Eisteddfod.

 

To start the week we listened to how

Sian and friends celebrate

St David's Day...

Preparing For St David's Day...

We decided that we would like to hold our own Eisteddfod at Ton Yr Ywen!

 

We invited the Year 1 and Year 2 children to take part too...

But what competitions shall we have?

We chose three...

Competition 1...

Painting the Welsh Dragon!

Creating a daffodil!

 

Some of us used inks and pastels.

Some of us created 3D Daffodils.

And some of us used paint.

Writing in Welsh!

 

We wrote who we are!

We were challenged to create a
