Another wonderful fun filled week in Nursery! We have begun to learn all about Spring. We have started to learn a spring song. We have hunted for new flowers and creatures in the garden. We have found more materials to go in our Bug House and we made group Spring pictures. We have also been talking about what baby animals are called. We were really surprised that a baby rabbit is called a kitten!
We talked about ways that we could help the creatures in our garden. We agreed that giving the bugs a home was a very kind thing to do but we wanted to help the birds too. To help the birds we agreed that we would give them some food so we made bird feeders and hung them on the trees. This was a great activity to practise threading.
As always we had lots of fun in PE.
World Book Day was amazing. The children looked fabulous. We chatted about our favourite books. We read lots and lots of stories. The Nursery staff were dressed up as characters from Room on the Broom and so we made magic potions. We also coloured book marks to take home.
As always we have had so much fun playing.
