This week we have been learning the Nursery Rhyme Incy Wincy Spider. The children used the water and the drain pipes to act out the song.
Mummy Dragon left us a treasure map which led us to an egg. We think there is a baby dragon inside. We have watched it crack and start to hatch all week. We then made our own treasure maps to lead our friends to our favourite places in the Nursery.
We had PE in the hall this week for the first time since November! We had so much fun. We pretended to be the doctor from the rhyme Miss Polly had a Dolly and we had a doctor race with the prams. We balanced Humpty Dumpty in a spoon for an egg and spoon race and we pretended we were Incy Wincy Spider and climbed up and down the ‘drain pipes’.
We celebrated St Dwynwen’s Day by making cards and colouring heart pictures. We also practised mark making hearts in red powder. We had so much fun!
and... lots and lots of playing
