MATHS
This week in maths we have been learning about factors. and multiples. We have been finding out what factors go into a number:
e.g - 1, 2, 5, and 10 are all factors of 10, as they can be divided into the number 10 equally with no remainders.
We have also learnt about what the multiples of a number is:
e.g - 10, 20, 30, 40 etc are all multiples of 10.
Have a go at these games to practice.
Now have a go at this worksheet and see how far you can get.
SPELLING
This week in spelling we are learning to spell words with common letter strings and different pronunciations. This week's letter strings are 'ough' and 'ight'.
You might like to see how many words you can make out of each of your spelling words.
e.g Height: tie, hit, eight, get
Then, jumble all the letters in your words to make a new word. Ask a sibling or a parent if they can work out what the word is. See if you can remember yourself what each word is
e.g. Thorough: Goorh hut
