Spellings
This week we have been looking at words that end in 'ary', 'ory' or 'ery'. We have introduced the spelling pattern of polysyllabic words and looked for the unstressed vowel. Some vowels sounds are unstressed or don’t make their vowel sound e.g. boundary isn’t bound-a-ry.
Write out your spellings highlighting the unstressed vowel eg. boundary.
Then have a go playing the following game.
