What are we for?
The school council acts as the link between the pupils and the Headteacher/Governors, who regularly attend our meetings. We meet to discuss issues affecting the children, we feedback to the pupils by leading assembly and respond to teachers who require our assistance.
At the beginning of the year we agreed a school council constitution.
See our constitution below.
Impact 2017-2018
Please take a look at the main projects we undertook during the school year 2017-2018.
Autumn 2017
Halloween - School Council represented the school in the community at the Sunrise retirement home on Halloween! They had fun playing games and completing activities with the residents.
Spring 2018
After looking through the suggestion box and listening to our classmates we realised lockers were a priority for the children. During the holidays the year 4 and 5 cloakrooms have been reorganised ready for the installation of lockers in the summer holidays!! Yippee!!
Summer 2018
We have raised over £250 to help ex-pupil Megan Jones in her quest to climb Kilimanjaro! Good luck Megan - make sure you come back and tell us all about it!
