Children in Years 2 to 6 will be sitting National Tests between May 3 - 10. It is very important for all children to attend school between those dates. The children will sit 3 different tests which will help us determine how much progress they have made in numeracy and literacy and whether or not they need additional support.
The tests are:
Wed 3rd May: Procedural numeracy - general maths
Fri 5th May: Reasoning - problem solving
Tue 9th May: Literacy - reading comprehension
Class teachers undertake various activities in class to prepare the children for the tests.
The results of the tests will be sent home in July with the children's end of year reports.
