This half term we are learning to form our letters correctly.

 

We Are Learning To write our letters.

To do this we have divided the letters

into 4 families.

The 'Curly Caterpillar' Letters.

The 'Long Ladder' Letters.

The 'One Armed Robot' Letters.

The 'Zig Zag' Letters.

We use a multi-sensory approach

to learn to write letters.

 

Please encourage your children to form

their letters using as many different materials as possible.

DON'T just stick to pen and paper...

 

How creative can you be?

 

How about using the garden for some inspiration?

Another skill that we are working on is the recognition of all of the different sounds that we have learned...

 

To do this we love to play BINGO!
