Dogs, Barn Dance and a Trip to the Farm

There is never a quiet week in Year 1, and this week has been no exception!!

We started the week with some very special visitors...

Meet Winnie...

Winnie is a police wellness dog...

We enjoyed hearing all about that activities that she gets up to but most of all we loved having a stroke and a cwtch!

Then we had two very special visitors...

Meet Yumi and Ruby...

Yumi and Ruby are very special dogs because they are Guide Dogs.

We enjoyed learning all about how these special dogs help their owners and all the different things that they can do...

Our final visitor was Miss Cook's dog

Beau

Beau loved visiting the children and especially liked it when we threw her ball for her on the field...

After a busy week with our visitors, it was time to get ready for our

'Barn Dance'

We loved performing our songs and dances to all of our mums and dads ...

What do you think of our dancing?

But we REALLY loved it when all the grown ups joined in with us!!

We loved taking photos in the photobooth…

Thank you to EVERYONE who bought something from one of our stalls!

We raised over £120 to buy some new things for the Year 1 Class.

And if our week wasn't busy enough we even squeezed a trip to Amelia Trust Farm in aswell!

Finally when we got back from our trip, we had a surprise...

Someone left us a special messageā€¦
